During my time at Nike, I worked on many design projects for the NIKEiD Design Studio at Roosevelt Field. When Hurricane Sandy hit the East Coast in 2012 it severely impacted New York City and brought it to a halt. A shirt was designed for the New York City Nike Run Club to signify their dedication to the running culture. SOPO stands for South Of the Power Outage, the area of Manhattan they would run in which wasn’t affected by the power outage.
