Kitab al Kafi is a Hadith (Tradition) collection consisting of 8 volumes with topics in history, ethics, supplication, epistemology, and the Quran.  The traditions were compiled originally in the Arabic language by Sheikh al-Kulayni, a renowned scholar in Islam. The entire collection was translated to English for the first time by the Islamic Seminary. I was tasked with designing the cover and branding for marketing and publication.  The design for this collection follows the traditional publication of Arabic texts based off the Thuluth calligraphy, the cover, and spine design but for the English reader.
